Prime founded Melanin Coaster Network in February 2022 by creating a Facebook group to highlight people of color who are theme park and roller coaster enthusiast. He organized the first Primetime Link-Up at Carowinds for a Juneteenth event in 2022. Through rigorous recruitment and community focused engagement, he was able to grow the network tremendously with members/supporters across the country. He is the visionary of the organization and is responsible for the overall development/direction of MCN. Prime excels in marketing and implementing new innovative and unique ideas. Prime appointed all Executive Team Members based on skill set, education, and daily commitment to MCN. As the owner, he is responsible for business development, implementing social media and branding strategies, recruitment, managing agendas, creating member events, and builds relationships with theme parks and industry leaders. Prime formulates business objectives and makes strategic decisions for MCN.
When Prime is not catching a flight to Cedar Point to ride Steel Vengeance, he enjoys spending time with family and watching the Philadelphia Eagles’ Jalen Hurts play football. Prime grew up on the Gulf Coast enjoying the boating life with his father. Coming from a family of athletes, Prime grew up traveling around the country playing competitive baseball. His dream was to become a professional baseball player and he never thought he would become a roller coaster enthusiast. With a presence that fills any room, he never meets a stranger, just a new friend. Prime is a very competitive person and loves participating in various activities such as softball, and cornhole. In Prime’s professional life, he has been in law enforcement and investigations for more than 10 years after graduating from the Alabama Criminal Justice Training Center. Prime is now pursuing his next chapter in theme park/amusement park attractions industry.
Chalmette Pringle, Co-Owner & Chief Operating Officer

Chalmette is Prime's family, business partner, and co-owner of MCN. As COO, Chalmette is responsible for maintaining and updating MCN’s website, building Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, managing gold membership accounts, purchase orders, inventory and MCN’s finances. With over 15 years of customer service experience, Chalmette’s goal is to provide assistance and resolutions to concerns and matters that may arise with members and others who support the network. She oversees the overall customer service experience and internal communications within the organization. Chalmette ensures the event check in process run smoothly and handles business objectives with theme park management. She has a Master's degree in Criminal Justice and is contracted with the U.S. Navy as a Future Operations Scheduler/Training Analyst for a foreign military sales program.
A small town girl growing up on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, she loves spending time with her family. She is a foodie and enjoys cooking new recipes. Shopping on Saturdays and listening to old school R & B music are her stress relievers. She learns something new every day about different roller coasters and theme parks. She is the MCN superstar behind the scenes to ensure our business runs smoothly on daily basis!
Shawn Howard, Executive Assistant

Shawn Howard serves as MCN's Executive Assistant, where he assists Prime and Chalmette with the day-to-day operations within the organization. From coordinating administrative projects, communications and organizational initiatives, Shawn plays an important role in helping the network operate efficiently behind the scenes. With a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Human Resource Management, Shawn brings a strong passion for helping people and building meaningful connections. His attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to service help support the Executive Team and its growing membership community.
He is passionate about leadership, member relations, organizational development, and creating positive experiences for our members. As an enthusiastic adventurer, Shawn enjoys connecting with fellow coaster fans, and helping foster a welcoming environment where members can share their passion of rollercoasters. He is proud to contribute to MCN's mission of building lasting friendships and strengthening a more inclusive coaster enthusiast community.
